Labour Mobility Consultations: Shaping Nova Scotia's Workforce
Introduction: Thank you for supporting our labour mobility consultation. This consultation is a collaborative initiative to understand labour mobility in Nova Scotia. We invite employers and workers from various sectors to share their experiences and contribute to this important initiative. Whether you're a certified and/or licensed professional or employer, your input is needed as we work towards a more efficient and responsive labour mobility system.
Understanding Labour Mobility: For the purpose of this consultation, “Labour Mobility” refers to the ability of certified workers to practice their regulated occupation, throughout Canada, wherever job opportunities exist. Ensuring qualifications of certified workers are recognized when they move to another province or territory benefits both workers and employers alike. Certified workers have a wider range of employment opportunities and employers can access a broader selection of candidates. (workersmobility.ca)
