For 25 years, Techsploration has actively broken down barriers to ensure more women are exploring and entering in-demand careers in science, engineering, trades, and technology. As a founding program partner, the Nova Scotia Apprenticeship Agency is incredibly proud of the empowering educational content Techsploration continues to deliver year after year to young women and non-binary youth in Grades 9-12 through hands-on, mentor-led programming.

On December 6, Techsploration hosted its 26th Annual Launch to kick-off their new program year. In attendance was the Honourable Jill Balser, Minister of Labour, Skills and Immigration, who highlighted some of the program's many achievements and marked National Day of Remembrance and Action on Violence Against Women by paying tribute to the women who lost their lives and those who were injured during the mass shooting at Polytechnique Montréal in 1989.

The evening also celebrated the program's many volunteers, mentors, teachers and partners, and welcomed Techsploration alumnae on stage to share their successful experience with the program.
