  4. New Financial Incentive for Journeypersons: Now Live

The new Journeyperson Financial Incentive Program was launched on July 31. The program aligns with government’s Actions to Accelerate the Growth of Skilled Trades in Nova Scotia strategy and provides up to $2,500 to journeypersons actively mentoring apprentices. 

The goal of the program is to help increase the number of apprentices becoming certified journeypersons.
