- Canadian Work Permit - If you are not a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident, a work permit is required to complete an apprenticeship.
- Nova Scotia Nominee Program - The Nova Scotia Nominee Program is an economic program which selects skilled workers who have the training, work experience and language ability to be employed in Nova Scotia and make a positive contribution to the provincial economy.
